As an Assistant Department Manager - Meat, you'll play a vital role in leading our team to provide the best in-store experience for our shoppers. We're looking for dedicated people leaders who can navigate us to providing top-notch service and memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and empower team members to improve efficiency, engagement, and retention.
- Maintain merchandising and operational standards to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Be accountable for financial objectives and contribute to the growth of our meat department.
- Identify and recruit talented individuals to join our team.
- Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.
What We're Looking For:
- A resourceful and courteous individual who can resolve inquiries efficiently.
- A motivated team player who is eager to learn and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Someone who is flexible and able to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Able to move up to 50lbs and maintain constant mobility throughout their shift.
- A passionate people leader with a consistent record of delighting customers.
- An outstanding teammate with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience in a retail setting is an asset.
