About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Water Treatment Engineer to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As a key member of our Water business, you will play a critical role in supporting and growing our water treatment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake municipal water and wastewater treatment system planning and design, including preparation of written technical reports and design drawings.
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed design drawings, calculations, construction specifications, and tender documents under the supervision of a senior engineer.
  • Conduct chemical or process simulation modeling as required, and perform field work related to site investigations in support of design work.
  • Meet with clients, regulators, and officials to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
  • Communicate and coordinate with multiple internal disciplines, CAD technicians, engineers, and project managers related to task activities.
Qualifications
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering with a strong interest in water/wastewater projects and be a registered APEGA Engineer-in-Training, or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Completion of a Master's Degree in Water/Wastewater Treatment is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 0-4 years of experience in engineering analysis and design of water and/or wastewater systems.
