Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Digital Services Technician to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our commercial HVAC field service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial environments.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with our customers to understand their requirements and provide timely solutions to ensure their businesses operate efficiently.
  • You will represent Trane Technologies as the primary customer contact and be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and starting up new systems.
  2. Coordinate with team leaders and customers to forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
  3. Represent Trane Technologies as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
  4. Use cutting-edge software and technology, as well as various hand tools, to diagnose and repair units.
  5. Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.
  6. Continually enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 5+ years of experience in HVAC is preferred.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphones, iPads).
  • A valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
Work Environment
  • This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy operating equipment, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
  • The ability to safely operate a vehicle using a seatbelt and wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harnesses, and safety boots is essential.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This estimate is based on national averages for this role and may vary depending on your location within the United States.
