About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Security Response Specialist to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT), you will play a critical role in managing coordinated disclosure of vulnerabilities on all SAP products and cloud solutions.

As a Senior Product Security Response Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing complex security incidents and vulnerabilities affecting SAP software and cloud solutions
  • Collaborating with external security researchers, customers, and SAP support organizations to facilitate the delivery of security fixes
  • Assessing the risk of disclosure and working with internal stakeholders to mitigate risk to SAP
  • Guiding development teams on possible solutions to fix security vulnerabilities and manage security incidents

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in managing complex security incidents and vulnerabilities. You will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with developers, security researchers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in security, with a strong background in vulnerability management and incident response
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with developers, security researchers, and other stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of security best practices and industry standards, including OWASP and NVD
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including Qualys, Burpsuite, and Metasploit
