Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) efforts. As a key member of the bank's leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of a comprehensive D&I strategy that fosters a culture of inclusion and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a D&I strategy that aligns with the bank's business objectives and values.
  • Lead the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives, programs, and policies.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to promote a culture of inclusion and respect.
  • Monitor and report on D&I metrics and progress against goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support their growth and development.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop engaging messaging and content around D&I initiatives.
  • Provide project management support to ensure timely and successful delivery of D&I initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in D&I leadership, preferably in a financial services organization.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
