Manager, Inclusion and Diversity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Anti-Racism to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our inclusion strategies and initiatives, ensuring that our workplace is inclusive, equitable, and accessible for all employees.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in diversity and employment equity work, with a proven track record of developing and executing inclusion strategies, policies, and programs. You will be responsible for driving the achievement of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) goals and related three-year plans, as well as supporting our Accessibility work, Mental Health initiatives, and Reconciliation efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute inclusion strategies, policies, and programs to promote a culture of inclusion and equity within the organization.
- Drive the achievement of ERGs goals and related three-year plans, ensuring that our workplace is inclusive and equitable for all employees.
- Support our Accessibility work, including developing and implementing accessibility plans and initiatives.
- Co-create and execute Mental Health initiatives, promoting a culture of mental well-being within the organization.
- Work with the IDEA2 Associate Director to develop and implement Reconciliation strategies and initiatives.
- Use data from our self-identification surveys and Employment Equity surveys to inform our inclusion strategies and initiatives.
- Support the JEDI program, our equity-focused Learning and Development program.
- Facilitate internal equity and inclusion-specific educational courses, including Unconscious Bias and Anti-Racism training.
- Lead the writing of our multi-year Employment Equity Plan, annual Employment Equity Report, and any Equity-specific audit work.
- Stay informed of legislative changes and developments in the area of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility, advising or adjusting tactics as necessary.
