Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team as a Return to Work Specialist. In this role, you will provide confidential, objective third-party assistance to employees facing obstacles that prevent them from attending work. You will manage return to work initiatives through liaison with employers, healthcare providers, and rehabilitation professionals.
You will develop a network of preferred service providers across the territory served by the company and ensure excellent services are offered by different suppliers. You will also collaborate on the development of selection criteria and qualitative measures.
- Provide confidential, objective third-party assistance to employees facing obstacles that prevent them from attending work;
- Manage return to work initiatives through liaison with employers, healthcare providers, and rehabilitation professionals;
- Develop a network of preferred service providers across the territory served by the company;
- Collaborate on the development of selection criteria and qualitative measures;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-secondary education;
- 3 to 5 years' experience in rehabilitation/disability management;
- Bilingualism (English and French);
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products;
- Medical and contractual knowledge;
The estimated salary for this role is $70,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
