Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant - Bilingual to join our team. This role involves assessing the vocational, training, and medical needs of claimants with disabilities, designing and implementing approved service delivery plans based on client needs and contractual provisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in accordance with our company values.
  • Meet clients in the field to assess their vocational rehabilitation needs.
  • Provide advice, referral services, or both, to address the identified needs of claimants with disabilities.
  • Work in partnership with policyholders and internal/external partners.
  • Establish realistic and cost-effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Prepare written reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to rehabilitation resources.
  • Serve clients in both English and French.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, psychosocial intervention, or a related field combined with relevant experience.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in intervention.
  • 5 years' experience in rehabilitation (an asset).
  • Relevant experience in facilitation, coaching, and counseling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Autonomy and ability to work with multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Ability to transcribe relevant information on a computer and communicate with insureds, employers, health professionals, etc.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is an asset.
  • Bilingualism, both written and spoken.
  • A valid driver's license and a vehicle are required due to possible travel.

Special Requirements:

You must be able to install office equipment in a dedicated space in your personal residence, preserve confidentiality of files, address computer problems with our Technology Services Office, travel to our downtown Montreal office for team meetings and training, and hold a valid driver's license and own a vehicle for travel in the greater Montreal area.
