Lock Search Group seeks a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to drive strategic financial growth and lead the finance team in a leading healthcare technology company.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial management, risk management, and compliance in both Canada and the U.S., with a proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and executing financial strategies that align with the company's growth and profitability goals.
  2. Leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate financial reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
  3. Managing all accounting functions, including financial statements, variance analysis, and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulations across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
  4. Evaluating, optimizing, and recommending business models to drive financial performance.
  5. Allocating resources to optimize operational efficiency and achieve departmental and company-wide objectives.
  6. Leading financial analysis of new business initiatives, ensuring a clear understanding of return on investment and potential risks.
  7. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness across the company.
  8. Overseeing external audits and tax compliance, managing relationships with auditors and ensuring adherence to financial regulations in all jurisdictions.
  9. Providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to the Board of Directors and senior management team.
  10. Managing payroll, benefits, and tax filings across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.
  11. Overseeing the implementation and optimization of financial systems and technologies to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  12. Participating in contract negotiations with customers and vendors, ensuring financial terms are aligned with business objectives.
  13. Developing and enforcing strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial mismanagement.
  14. Leading and mentoring the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and high performance.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and possess a professional designation such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles is required.
