Elective and General Surgery Clinical Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate veterinary surgeon to join our team as a Clinical Lecturer in Elective and General Surgery. This is a 2-year term position that will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to deliver clinical veterinary care, teach undergraduate students, and contribute to the development of a healthy and diverse caseload for clinical learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical veterinary care within the Elective and Surgery service for 75% of the time
- Contribute to the development of a positive and vibrant team-based clinical service with excellence in client service
- Coach veterinary students as they develop competence and confidence in the key elements of the framework for competency-based veterinary education
- Work to incorporate recent veterinary medical evidence-based advances and enhance the surgical skills of undergraduates and technical staff
