The salary for this position is estimated to be between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.



Job Description

Responsibilities:



  • Supervise a team of approximately 40 employees, providing guidance and direction to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with Production Managers and Superintendents to coordinate shift rotations, optimize processes, and maintain compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and government requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve issues promptly, taking corrective action to prevent poor quality or subpar production rates.
  • Coordinate training programs for operators, schedule operating crew holidays, and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead regular safety meetings, tours, and investigations, documenting findings and implementing necessary changes.
  • Maintain close communication with department supervisors during shift rotations and monitor daily shift logs.
  • Generate work orders, purchase requests, and perform other administrative tasks as required.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:



  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Intelex, Microsoft Word, and Excel software.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
