Family Medicine Physician

Horizon Health Network is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Saint John Uptown Health Centre. As a collaborative care practitioner, you will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including routine health checks, illness care, and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans, education, counseling, and health promotion programs.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote quality patient care and safety.
- Participate in after-hours on-call coverage and ensure continuity of patient care during absences.
- Valid license to practice medicine in the Province of New Brunswick.
- Member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Medical Society.
- Current malpractice insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BCLS) preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Good attendance and work record.
- Physically able to perform assigned duties.
