About the Role

Horizon Health Network is seeking a dedicated and passionate Hospitalist Physician to join our team in beautiful New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care to family medicine patients admitted to our institution or transferred from specialty services.
  • Collaborate with other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Allied Medical Staff to provide safe and quality patient care.
  • Participate in medical practice that is compatible with the Health Authority's mission, values, and strategic directions.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with the team of hospitalists.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree from a recognized medical school and postgraduate studies (residency) in the field of family medicine, internal medicine, and/or hospitalist medicine.
  • Valid license to practice medicine in New Brunswick through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB), and ACLS Certification.
  • Written and spoken competence in English at an advanced level. Bilingual skills are considered an asset.
