Shift Team Lead

At Tim Hortons, we're looking for a skilled Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a positive and safe work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and coordinate the day-to-day activities of employees, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Create and maintain a safe and positive work environment, free from harassment and violence.
- Model company brand standards and adhere to all policies and SOPs in a professional manner.
- Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow company cash handling policies and maintain the security of cash at all times.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices, adhering to all H&S standards.
- Prepare employee schedules, ensure adequate coverage, and deliver brand training for cross-training.
- Coach, mentor, and discipline employees as needed, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement product rotation, order products, and participate in monthly inventory counts.
- Deliver training for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Monitor compliance with safety guidelines, raise awareness about safety, and report injuries immediately.
- Assist in brand training, ensuring all employees are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months supervisory/lead experience in Food & Beverage, cash handling, and customer service
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- First Aid and Food Safety Certificate an asset
