Job Title: Daycare Worker Assistant

Miles Of Smiles is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Worker Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young learners.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Daycare Worker Assistant to support our childcare team in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily childcare activities, including bath time, meal preparation, and engaging children in play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily childcare activities, including bath time, meal preparation, and engaging children in play-based learning.
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based activities and educational programs.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including adhering to health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient childcare experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices in childcare and education.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
