Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team at Crawford & Company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating multi-line claims with a focus on property (commercial and personal lines) claims through loss investigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.
- Maintain adequate production levels and customer relationships.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- 10 or more years of functional and technical claims handling experience in large loss, commercial claims, and liability.
- Construction and property background with specialization in project management, quantification, and appraisal.
- Commercial policy interpretation and experience making recommendations to the market.
- Licensed or working towards CIP and/or FCIP designation.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
