We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Parkland Players. As an integral part of our early childhood education program, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a child care centre setting and possess excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, and written communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs, leading activities, establishing relationships with co-workers and community service providers, and maintaining a safe environment for children. A criminal record check is required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the overall development of children
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and educational outings
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community partners
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) Level 1
  • Experience working in a child care centre
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, and written communication skills
  • Criminal record check
