The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit card products, banking, and insurance product expertise. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the credit card product strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to launch new credit card products and services, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Conduct business case analysis to review new asks and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Monitor project timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, documentation, and presentations to update stakeholders and senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of credit card product experience at a Canadian financial institution, including experience with credit card insurance products.
  • Solid product management background, ideally in financial services, emphasizing credit card products.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and make decisions that drive product improvement and innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, with excellent communication skills suitable for liaising with both large teams and executives.
