Data Architect for e-Tolling and Traffic Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to play a key role in our e-Tolling project and IT operations. As a Data Architect, you will design and implement a future-proof data architecture for e-Tolling, Traffic Management Systems, and internal platforms.
Responsibilities- Design data models for e-Tolling, Traffic Management Systems, and other related systems.
- Analyze existing data sources and recommend improvements to enhance data quality and accuracy.
- Plan and design data integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data security and compliance.
- Design data warehouse architectures for Business Intelligence and reporting.
- Design data architectures for advanced analytics and machine learning.
- Oversee and plan data migration strategies to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and align solutions to meet business needs.
- Document deliverables, including data roadmaps, data models, policies, and other relevant documentation.
- Facilitate meetings to gather data architecture requirements and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Report progress to the Technical Lead and ensure timely completion of projects.
- 10+ years' experience in data architecture, engineering, or science.
- Experience leading complex data architecture initiatives and driving business outcomes.
- Proven ability to create data architecture diagrams and data flows.
- Ability to work on-site in Dartmouth, NS.
- Data architecture roadmaps and data flow mapping.
- Data modeling and data policies.
- Data analytics software compatibility assessments.
- Capability and requirements impact assessments.
- Business documentation and solution building block diagrams.
- Data catalogs and data source inventories.
- Master/reference data documentation and key data definitions.
