About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to play a key role in our e-Tolling project and IT operations. As a Data Architect, you will design and implement a future-proof data architecture for e-Tolling, Traffic Management Systems, and internal platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Design data models for e-Tolling, Traffic Management Systems, and other related platforms.
  • Analyze existing data sources and recommend improvements to enhance data quality and accuracy.
  • Plan and design data integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Design data warehouse architectures for Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting purposes.
  • Design data architectures for advanced analytics and machine learning applications.
  • Oversee and plan data migration strategies to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and align solutions with business needs.
  • Document deliverables, including data roadmaps, data models, policies, and other relevant documentation.
  • Facilitate meetings to gather data architecture requirements and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Report progress to the Technical Lead and ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or science.
  • Proven ability to lead complex data architecture initiatives and drive results.
  • Experience in data architecture roadmaps, data flow mapping, data modeling, and data policies.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dartmouth, NS, and collaborate with remote teams.
  • Experience in data analytics software compatibility assessments, capability and requirements impact assessments, business documentation, and solution building block diagrams.
