Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Shiva Transport Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, air brakes endorsement, and experience with cross-border travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently across the country.
  • Meet all regulatory requirements, including hours of service and weight limits.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Air brakes endorsement.
  • Experience with cross-border travel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment: The work environment for this position is primarily outdoors, with frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, and physical demands. The driver will be required to sit for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
