About the Role:

Dan Bensoussan is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to seniors in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, keeping the client's home tidy and organized.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities, such as dressing and grooming.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
