Job Title: Home Support Worker - Private Home

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Private Home. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook meals for clients

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Working Conditions:
