Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Cow Head Clover Farm. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our management team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using electronic cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.
  • Operate an electronic cash register, process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments, and handle customer returns and exchanges.
  • Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and wrap or place merchandise in bags as needed.
  • Greet customers warmly, engage with them to understand their needs, and make recommendations on products or services.
  • Weigh produce and bulk foods accurately, maintain inventory levels, and restock shelves as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, dusting shelves, and restocking supplies.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly around the store.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
