RVA is seeking an experienced Senior Municipal Engineer/Project Manager to lead projects related to roads, water distribution systems, sanitary sewage collection systems, flood protection, stormwater management, and storm drainage systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, managing projects, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Manage projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and proposals
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Collaborate with other offices and teams to share best practices and expertise

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in municipal engineering, with at least 10 years in a consultancy
  • Registration in Newfoundland and Labrador or eligibility for registration
  • Project management certification (PMP) is an asset
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
