About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Maya HTT, a leading developer of advanced modeling and simulation software for mechanical engineering. As a strategic development partner for Siemens PLM Software Inc., we author and market a variety of software products for heat transfer, fluid flow, and structural simulation, used by customers worldwide.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and execute systematic product verification testing to ensure quality standards are met prior to market release.
  • Develop and execute quality assurance test plans to identify defects and improve software quality.
  • Document test results and provide feedback to engineers and product development teams, preparing detailed test reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in scrum and QA meetings, contributing to improving QA processes and methodologies.
  • Design automated tests for progressive software testing and identify defects in the application, reporting them clearly using defect tracking systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD software, preferably NX.
  • Good grasp of mechanical concepts, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME or ISO drafting standards.
  • Experience with CAD drafting tools for manufactured components and good interpersonal skills, initiative, and ability to work in a scrum team.
  • Experience with QA and/or script writing is an asset.
