At Southbridge Care Homes, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at The Palace LTC in Alexandria, ON.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care to our residents. As a Personal Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct care, emotional and social support, and working collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing direct care for residents, including personal care and nursing tasks.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents and their families, including palliative care.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement care plans that meet the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our residents.
  • Support your team in providing a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

Requirements:

  • PSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the appropriate standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association.
  • Passion and heart for providing quality care.
  • Knowledge and experience in care planning systems and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate positively with other staff, residents, and families.
