Job Title: Linux Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Administrator to join our team at Merge IT. As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our enterprise-level client's Linux infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Linux systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and manage batch scheduling, data caching, and monitoring tools.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve operational processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless infrastructure support.
  • Participate in weekly review meetings and agile ceremonies to review infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Experience with Linux distributions, such as Red Hat.
  • Knowledge of batch scheduling, data caching, and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Independent problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience with work management tools, such as Jira or ServiceNow.
