About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chiropractic Assistant to join our team at Humble Wellness Clinic Inc. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our chiropractors in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Health Care Professionals: Provide administrative support to our chiropractors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Assist Physicians in Patient Assessment: Assist our chiropractors in assessing patients, gathering medical history, and conducting physical examinations.
  • Treatment Programs: Assist in implementing treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Patient Education: Assist our chiropractors in educating patients on their treatment plans and health maintenance.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims for health insurance and workers' compensation.
  • Statistics and Data Management: Collect and maintain accurate statistics and data for our clinic.
  • Treatment Machine Operation: Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Physical Examinations: Assist our chiropractors with physical examinations and patient assessments.
  • Documentation: Document patient rehabilitation progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
  • Specialization or Experience: Experience in the green economy sector is an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
