We are seeking a skilled Cement Finishing Supervisor to join our team at Superior IDP Construction Ltd.

Job Summary

The Cement Finishing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and finishing of cement surfaces, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the work of cement finishing teams to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • Prepare Reports and provide regular updates on project progress to management.
  • Recruit and Train new team members and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure Health and Safety protocols are followed at all times, and report any incidents or near-misses.
  • Read and Interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Estimate Costs and materials needed for each project.
  • Apply Paint and Finishing materials to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Measure and Cut wallpaper and other materials to fit surfaces.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in cement finishing or a related field.
  • Excellent Communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced construction environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a English-speaking environment.
