About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Sector 7 Kitchen + Bar. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to order
  • Prepare special cuts of meat for customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood

Work Environment:

As a Meat Cutter at Sector 7 Kitchen + Bar, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to have attention to detail and be physically demanding.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
