About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tractor Operator to join our team at 1296096 BC Ltd. As a key member of our floriculture production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Clean the crops, fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and tillage equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Agricultural Services: Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to support the production process.
Work Environment

As a Tractor Operator, you will work outdoors in a dusty environment, exposed to the elements. You will be required to work in a physically demanding role, handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks. The work environment is a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a large workload and a focus on hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
