About the Work Environment

We offer a flexible hybrid work setup where you will split your time between in-office and remote work from home. You will typically work regular business hours, Monday to Friday, between 8am and 4:30pm, with flexibility around start/end times.

The position is based out of our Toronto office; however, successful candidates will be expected to relocate and reside within a commutable distance if they apply outside of this area.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Cards and Payment solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficient monitoring of client obligations and identifying potential risks.
  • Providing thought-out recommendations to internal stakeholders addressing key issues while considering all potential risk mitigants.

About the Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Risk Management professional, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of business, financial, operations, and reputational risks.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel or business intelligence software.
  • Technical knowledge of payment products like Issuing, Acquiring, and Money movements.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Payments Landscape and functional knowledge of Payments.

About the Day-to-Day

Your duties will include:

  • Executing monitoring procedures for risk assessment from the Payments and Cards Client relationship.
  • Supporting timely and accurate completion of business processes around client monitoring.
  • Performing due-diligence and Third-Party risk assessments for clients.
  • Actively applying critical thoughts to existing tools, controls, and processes, making recommendations and testing solutions.

About Compensation

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on your knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for a discretionary profit share opportunity, group benefits, and our RRSP matching program.
