Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our team at Innospec Inc. in Western Canada.
The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented with a drive to achieve goals and maintain a great customer experience.
You will be able to suggest forward-thinking ideas to promote our brand and work closely with clients to understand their needs.
This individual will have excellent communication abilities and negotiation skills.
The role involves managing key accounts and business development in the Canadian Petroleum Industry, requiring strong outside-sales skills.
Travel is expected up to 75% of the time, with some national responsibilities as well.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a proven B2B sales pedigree (minimum 7 years) and degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
The successful candidate will also have Canadian O&G knowledge and be open to remote work.

The starting salary for this position is $150K CAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Outside-sales position focused on managing key accounts and business development in the Canadian Petroleum Industry.
- Ability to work with challenging customers and negotiate the best results for Innospec.
- Ability to deliver a successful sales strategy leading to breakthroughs in new markets.
- Mainly western Canadian focused, with some national responsibilities as well.
- Corporate and field sales skills required.
