We are seeking an experienced retail professional to join our team as a Senior Retail Store Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales workers, supervising office and volunteer staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3-4 sales workers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees to help them improve their performance.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Sell merchandise and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail management or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a senior retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
