Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Go Canada Transport Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logbooks and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid AZ class license, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Experience: Have experience in long-haul trucking, with a strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Communication: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with central dispatch and other stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions.
