IT Solutions Architect Job Description

At CAE Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will play a technical leadership role in multidisciplinary teams, driving innovation and excellence in our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement architectures that meet non-functional requirements, including our technological vision, cybersecurity, compliance, and availability.
  • Provide expertise and advice to ensure that technology teams understand the architectural and technology options that support their business initiatives.
  • Support delivery teams in their agile transformation and adoption of DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure that solutions meet cybersecurity principles and standards.
Requirements:
  • University degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least eight years' experience in IT and three to five years' experience in solution or project architecture.
  • Experience working with system integrators or in the implementation of supplier products is an asset.
  • Good understanding of networking principles and cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
