Job Title: Student Project Coordinator

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Student Project Coordinator to join our team at Chandos. As a Student Project Coordinator, you will work closely with our Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project coordination and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Monitor and coordinate activities with clients, subcontractors, and other consultants to ensure project goals are met
* Prepare change and tender documents to facilitate project progress
* Assist the project team with the initial mobilization and setup of construction sites
* Track equipment performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager
* Assist in resolving design issues, change requests, material defects, and equipment problems
* Manage project administration activities, including payroll, timekeeping, labor coding, equipment coding, purchase-order coding, and safety reporting
* Ensure compliance with Chandos health and safety training and reporting requirements
* Perform periodic field inspections to determine compliance with approved plans and regulations
* Coordinate the permit process as assigned
* Read, interpret, and understand construction drawings and specifications, AHJ codes, and ordinances regarding building codes, permit issuance, and permit fees
* Track and review project proposals of change and change orders

**Requirements:**

* Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies in a Civil/Construction discipline
* Ability to travel to site and off-site locations
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task
* Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
