Grocery Associate

As a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized grocery area, assisting with stocking and sales, and adhering to our company's basic beliefs and values.
Key Responsibilities- Zones the department to ensure a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
- Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
- Follows food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning procedures, to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and other tasks as required.
- Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
- Follows Health and Safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Stocks merchandise/picks, downstocks if applicable, and applies product protection when required.
