Grocery Department Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grocery Department Manager to join our team at Longos. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the highest level of customer service and store operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage store inventory, merchandise, and scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor and maintain store appearance, including visual merchandising and store cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, food safety, and loss prevention.
- Provide coaching and training to sales associates to improve their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other store leaders to achieve company objectives and goals.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a grocery department with management experience and product knowledge.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions.
