Key Responsibilities- Lead Product Engineering Team: Guide your team to success, ensuring high-quality standards, and continuously improving our products and processes.
- Develop Departmental Standards: Work with other engineering teams to develop departmental standards for functions such as Back-End, Front-End, Security, QA, and Agile.
- Maintain Product Roadmaps: Collaborate with the Product Manager to maintain product roadmaps for the team's portfolio of products.
- Ensure Documentation: Ensure that necessary documentation is written and maintained by the engineering team.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, coach, mentor, and develop staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- On-Call Rotations: Participate in on-call rotations in accordance with team requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Analyze intricate technical problems and devise effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Skilled at conveying complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Quality Focus: Committed to producing high-quality work consistently.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Quality Assurance, with 8-10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, Cloud Infrastructure, or DevOps roles, and 1-2 years of experience leading a team or complex projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Java,.NET technologies, or a testing automation language, with proficiency in React, Spring, or Selenium preferred, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Docker.
