About the Role

As a Senior Game Designer at Frontier Developments plc., you will play a vital role in shaping the gaming experience of our players. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop engaging game mechanics, systems, and features that meet the project's vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including programming, art, and audio, to ensure seamless integration and high-quality execution.
  • Develop and maintain game documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and testing plans.
  • Work closely with the project lead and other designers to ensure alignment with the project's overall vision and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of game prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and other testing materials.
  • Participate in game testing and provide feedback to the development team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a game designer or in a related field, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
  • Proficiency in game development tools and technologies, including game engines, scripting languages, and other relevant software.
  • Passion for game development and a deep understanding of game design principles and best practices.
