At Kindred Hospital Ontario, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service excellence. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care and compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Provide professional guidance for nursing personnel, manage disciplinary issues, and prepare administrative reports.
- Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures to ensure efficient and effective care.
- Hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff, and assign duties and coordinate nursing services.
- Participate in program development and training for nurse-recruitment activities and assist with continuing education programs.
- Assess patient needs, provide nursing care, and ensure services are carried out and documented appropriately.
- Maintain patient health care records and supply inventory records.
- Promote adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement.
Qualifications:
- Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Registered Nurse/RN license in the state.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Two years of Registered Nurse/RN nursing experience in a hospital.
- One to two years supervisory/leadership experience.
