Nursing Supervisor Opportunity

Kindred Hospital Ontario is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role

As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies and regulations. You will provide professional guidance for nursing personnel, manage disciplinary issues, and prepare administrative reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Provide professional guidance for nursing personnel and manage disciplinary issues.
  • Prepare administrative reports and review staffing and budgetary needs.
  • Integrate Nursing Services functions with other hospital departments.
  • Participate in program development and training for nurse-recruitment activities and assist with continuing education programs.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate designated nursing staff.
  • Assign duties and coordinate nursing services.
  • Participate in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
  • Provide continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Assess patient needs and participate in providing nursing care.
  • Maintain patient health care records and supply inventory records.

Requirements

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid Registered Nurse/RN license in the state.
  • BCLS and ACLS certification.
  • Two years of Registered Nurse/RN nursing experience in a hospital.
  • One to two years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Compensation

$36.50 - $57.03 per hour.
