Job Title: Welder Specialist

SKYLINE WELDING & FABRICATION LTD. is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a Welder Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks, including operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines and gas welding machines.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and specifications.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Determine weldability of materials and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically demanding conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
