Computer Network Specialist

At 555 Wireless, we are seeking a skilled Computer Network Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
- Providing problem-solving services to network users
- Implementing data, software, and hardware security procedures
- Performing routine network start-up and close-down and maintaining control records
- Performing data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Setting up local area networks and connections to the Internet
- Implementing network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimizing server performance
As a Network Infrastructure Technician, you will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure. If you have a strong background in computer networking and are looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field

- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
