Job Title: Food and Beverage Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Trainer to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a Food and Beverage Trainer, you will be responsible for overseeing the Food and Beverage Employees in a shift work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a safe and efficient work environment while maintaining an open-door policy.
  • Delegate duties to staff on shift.
  • Conduct alcohol assessments and refusals with the support of security personnel.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in inventory control – weekly counts and ordering.
  • Communicate with management on employee and health & safety concerns.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or post-secondary education with a focus in Food & Beverage or a related discipline.
  • Leadership experience in the related field of one or more years.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and managerial skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages, including Point of Sale systems.
  • Proven high level of customer service.
  • The ability to work and excel in a fast-paced large volume business.
