About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at SARVIN CONSTRUCTION INC. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden products, including cabinets, built-in units, and furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Operate computer-aided design (CADD) software and other equipment to create and assemble products
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed
  • Sand and finish wooden surfaces, applying veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products
  • Set up and operate specialized finishing equipment and machines
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles required
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 32-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be willing to travel and relocate. The language of work is English.
