Job Title: Live-in Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Sukhbir Singh Nijjar. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to the resources they need.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
Work Setting:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Live-in Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing care and support in this setting.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in our clients' homes, and we require our Live-in Caregivers to be fluent in English.

Work Term:

This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure work environment.

Hours:

Our Live-in Caregivers work 40 hours per week, providing a healthy work-life balance.
