Overview

Campus Living Centres provides residence life services to post-secondary students, striving to create a safe and welcoming environment for our residents. As an esteemed member of our team, the Accounting Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the financial function for Campus Living Centres and its affiliated organizations is executed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
The Accounting Manager is accountable for managing and administering the Finance Department, encompassing tasks such as:

  • Monthly accounting and financial planning
  • Preparation and monitoring of financial reports
  • Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting
  • Supervision and support of Senior Property Accountants and Property Accountants
  • Performance of duties in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of Finance personnel

Requirements
To excel in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Recognized University Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience or equivalent
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior budgetary and decision making ability
  • Excellent employee leadership skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Superior organizational skills
  • High level of critical and logical thinking
  • High attention to detail

Work Environment
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of interruption and moderate overall stress levels, particularly during peak periods at month-end.
